Spinach And Cheese Pie/FATAYER /Boreg ‏فطائر السبانخ

Hi, today I would like to share this delicious spinach and cheese pie with you it is a Middle Eastern recipe it’s very famous very delicious the dough is very soft and fluffy crunchy at the same time. I like it with cheese but you can do only spinach if you don’t like cheese.
To make this recipe you need
1/2 lb spinach /11oz
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
1tbsp instant yeast
1 onion
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 olive oil
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp oil
3 tsp sumac
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 egg
311 غرام السبانخ
أكواب طحين لجميع الأغراض4
1 كوب حليب دافئ
1 ملعقة كبيرة خميرة فورية
1 بصلة
2 ملعقة كبيرة عصير ليمون
1/2 زيت زيتون
1 1/4 ملعقة صغيرة ملح
1 ملعقة كبيرة سكر
1/2 كوب ماء دافئ
2 ملعقة كبيرة زيت
3 ملاعق صغيرة سماق
2 ملعقة صغيرة بابريكا
2 ملعقة صغيرة فلفل أسود
‏ملعقة صغيرة فلفل احمر 1\4
ملح للتذوق
1/2 كوب جبن فيتا
1/2 كوب جبن موزاريلا
1 بيضة

Hi! Does it matter what kind of milk? Should it be whole milk? Will skim work? :)

Hi, it’s really don’t matter that much I have used 2% and you can even use powder milk as well. So you’ll be fine Milk just make the dough to stay soft after baking. God luck for you dear and let me know how it turns out. ❤️
