I've had 5 lower back surgeries and 25 years later 2 on my neck. Now I have a bulging disc in my upper mid back 🥴🤕🤔 ALWAYS listen to your doctor and if you feel like they're not really listening to you or dealing with your issues get a second opinion "from a doctor who doesn't know the first one personally"! Good luck to anyone that gets hurt, and believe that you can get through it. It takes hard work but it's possible, but not if you give up. Pray and have faith while doing the work :)

if we experience grade D sci can sci be completely restored including getting normal bladder and bowel control? (Spinal Cord Edema)
@ObjectFit2 жыл бұрын
Would depend on the level, severity, individual (age, activity level prior etc) too many factors to "guess" the answer. However, if the nerve injury, in this case, is ASIA D (incomplete) it is possible assuming the lesion is lower down the cord. Peripheral nerves have a > chance of regeneration but research suggests nerves strop regenerating around 1-year post-injury. So there are a lot of factors at play. HOWEVER nothing is impossible and we have seen people with Class A injuries eventually become incomplete, incomplete almost fully recover etc. SO keep hope alive if you find yourself in this situation, do not accept no for an answer especially if your goal is higher than status quo
