Hi Megan. Intermittent decompression would be hard to do on your own. Ideally, you're relaxed while there is a gentle elongation happening. However, there are some methods such as bending forward over a swiss ball. There is also the idea of using an inversion table, however, you won't get the back and forth movement (intermittent) with that. I like you're question and may consider adding a video soon with some ideas that would come close.
