to me that is one of the funniest things about Spinal Tap they actually are a good rock band musically it is just that their lyrics are so silly and they are ridiculous characters. I find that way funnier than a crap band because if they also had bad music it would be too much like a hat on a hat, but their good music kind of acts like the straight man in a comedy duo which their silly lyrics and jokes can work against.

We did this video back in 1992 not 1982 as it says on the copyright.. Mark Rezyka and his newly formed US 95 Production company Directed this he appears as the Director at the beginning and end of the video.. this was a lot of fun to make and it is still awesome!! Nigel's Marshall stack design guitar is so ridiculous. I've seen the original movie many times and I've seen various concert performances and videos, but I've never seen that guitar. It's hilarious. They are so good at capturing the 70s and early 80s Rock and Roll excess. It's hard to believe that some Rock stars didn't think Spinal Tap was funny. I guess the truth hurts sometimes.
