Viv's death was faked. In the mid-80s Tap owed loads of money to charities, but it was learned that only Viv Savage's name was spelled correctly on the contracts. Thus, Viv was the only legally responsible party. And so it was: Viv dies, having broke his own employment agreement with Tap by lying about drumming. As a result, Tap were absolved of all debt, even recouping Viv's estate and life insurance payout as business expenses by claiming damages. He still plays for The Tap remotely via morse code.

This is the only surviving music video by the fictional English rock band Spinal Tap during the Mick Shrimpton era all the other tapes melted because the room they were stored in inside the studio was too hot, I remember seeing Spinal Tap perform Hell Hole on the English music chart television programme Top Of The Pops and David St. Hubbins throwing his guitar on stage. I don't have the tape of it anymore because a twat who hated me in school was visiting and he threw the tape into a tree and my cat Seabel thought it was a bird and jumped at it and it fell in the next door neighbour's pool and he did not like it so he had it exploded and it got destroyed. To this day I am still trying to find this Top Of The Pops performance and I have no luck so far.

1:11 That riff is actually composed almost like a joke, but it's wonderfully serious. If you know where it runs on the fretboard, (as a guitarist you'd understand.)
