Ein Meister seines Faches...leider habe ich zu zittrige Hände.So hat's leider neur zum Maschinenbauer gereicht.Wenn man sich vor Augen hält, wie alt diese Technik ist und sie läuft immernoch. Ich hatte selbst 2 Spindeln 1750 französisch und 1820 Birmingham.Diese Gravuren finde ich heute noch wunderschön und kaum jemand kann das heute noch

Case around 1785, movement probably 1760s

It has no maintaining power, very few English verges do, I think that's a mistranslation from the German. The outer case hallmark is for 1825/6 but the movement is around the 1770s

Mit Kette und Schnecke. Mega. Findet man glaub ich auch heute nur noch bei Lange und Söhne in den Pour Le Merite Modellen. Ich dachte das die Kette doch etwas flexibler ist bzw. geschmeidiger in den Gliedern. Hat dies nicht Einfluss auf die Ganggenauigkeit ?
