Haha. I really REALLY wanted to make one that was battery powered. That would have been so much cooler.

@@WyldeWoodworks maybe another hinged section so you can change batteries is an option. I'm also thinking about other bits and tips this could apply towards. Like a buffer or a wire wheel.

@@LangeloScuro Yeah my thought was to expose the bottom of the drill on the outside of the box for easy battery replacement.

Why not put a tyrip around the powerbutton of the drill (so it is allways on) and a switched-poweroutlet inside the box with, a switch on the outside of the box? Would eliminate opening and closing the box with every use..

That's a good idea! I actually bought a variable speed switch to attach to the drill but I couldn't get that to work consistently.

It stays put a lot better when when The bit is balanced properly. I think I'm gonna end up putting a weight in the bottom.

@@WyldeWoodworks that would help to but my thought is non slip on the bottom. If not feet just a thin rubber sheet.

@@grumpyoldman7818 That's a really good idea but if the bit is off balance I don't think the rubber feet would do much to stop it. Once I put it on my 2nd workbench and balanced the bit it stuck 10X better. That 1st bench I had it on stays oiled most of the time.
