Nice catches jimbo I’ve been slaying em with the karashi on my new setup. 2020 steez Air TW 500XXHL paired up to the orochi X10 cliffhanger. Thanks for the video and appreciate all the great info you provided for us. Tight lines !!!

Thx! Karashi is neat... I had a few sinking pencils in the past, but not as slow sinking as those. I can't wait to throw mine!

Does the soft plastic last longer if you rig it traditional VS the Core Tackle hook?
@rawrfishingАй бұрын
Yes! I weave the hook in so it creates a pinch. Core tackle destroys it if u rig it the way they show it. But.. If u rig it like how I shown, it should be good. I will have another video this fall to do further testing.

@@rawrfishing I should have said traditional hover strolling rig with the nail weight VS the Core Tacke hook. Which one will make the soft plastic last longer in your experience?
@rawrfishingАй бұрын
Yes I gotten that. To me... Traditional is using nail weight plus hook. And traditional with weaving or not, will last longer than traditional hover rig. My reverse rigging of core tackle is still to be fully tested, could be better tho

Which fishing line and rod do you use?
@rawrfishingАй бұрын
I shared the rod details within the first 45 seconds of the vid! But I always use some sort of 0.6 gou diameter PE line for my UL bfs fishing. This one is Sunline Siglon X4 and I got about a rod length of 4lb Fluorocarbon Leader
