Steel panther ridicule the hair metal genre in my opinion, new generation think that's what hair metal is all about but the first wave of hair bands were kickass, RATT, Dokken, Motley Crüe, Icon, Steeler. Great stuff, the second wave not so great.

People in Finland and Sweden and Norway have good taste in music, I live 80s metal, I wish I was part of this scene, I plus so much 80s metal on guitar. This would be awesome, just to live there and seeing bands like this get recognition.

They came to my town (this lineup of Archie, Johnny, Middy and Tazzy) in December 2017. I'd been waiting for something hard rocking and 80's style to come to my town and it would be them. I was really contemplating whether to go or not but after some time, I just bought a ticket and went. It was like 1987 again that night and it was a night of rocking firepower that I know I will never forget. They were the only ones in the room who looked like rockstars and I went home feeling great having met them as well. A few months later, it was all over for this lineup. There was not a single inkling that it would be the only chance I would ever get to see them. I still regret that even though I still got to see them. Sometimes you've just gotta go and take a chance otherwise you'll really miss out.

InfernalNightlord Yes,totally,there were lots of good stuff,Dokken kicks arse,Europe has actually pretty good songs,specially their last 3 albums,who are more traditional Hardrock,early Motley Crue(''Looks that Kill''),80's/90's Bon Jovi,''Dry Country''/''Something to believe in'' are epic songs(sadly they turned into a lame country-pop band after the year 2000),Winger actually released a new cd ,this year, that has lots of prog elements.Oh and about Poison,Mike Ackerfeldt is right,they really suck,exept the one cd with Richie Kotzen. xD
