Hate these robo-narrated videos.

at this time, I can’t afford a human narrator, but thanks for your feedback!

NASA is always shocked at the existence of progress.

For things like Starlink, and other small leo satellites. As long as the payload is able to withstand the launch stress.
@Q88M3 күн бұрын
The stress is really a big issue here.

All spin. No launch.

Not yet, but its mechanism is quite interesting. If the company can last long enough, it might make a real impact.

What could possibly go wrong?

First, SpinLaunch needs to make money to survive. It has to keep running until it can truly make an impact

I dont like that it is still creating debris and the rocket is probbaly not reusable
@cropcircle56933 күн бұрын
But you like the debris and lack of re usability we currently live with? People like you are the worst. Just because it isn't perfect by a few metrics you're gonna talk shit on something that has remarkable gains. Significantly less fuel and minimal waste produced and you're bothered that it isn't perfect.

You know what the debris is for a Starship launch? 2 million pounds of carbon dioxide, from a methame LOX reaction. The projectile for spinlunch is (guessing) at most 20,000 kg. Its metal, so of course you can reuse it. so thats not debris... Drilling down further, the debris you speak of is the polymer diaphragm that is ruptured at launch,. I'm guessing that weighs less than my body,. 100kg of ruptured nylon, or 2 million pounds of CO2 released into the atmosphere. tough call

@cropcircle5693 I dont like the whole concept and I can shot on what ever I want. I think that this whole system will be surpassed in a few years maybe decades. It Is nice gimmick at best.

SpinLaunch's method reduces debris and emissions, which is pretty advanced. The problem is, its feasibility is still a big question mark, and so far, it hasn’t made any money

This video sucks, where are the real humans posting KZbin videos?
