Spinmaster: The Miracle Adventure Longplay (Neo Geo) [QHD]

Developed and published by Data East in 1993
As one of the big arcade developers of the time, it's interesting to see Data East develop a game for the Neo Geo hardware. They did a good jab too - Spinmaster is good fun, boasting excellent artwork and overall presentation.
A big part of what makes the game.fun is the variety of weapons on offer. Each of these have their own advantages, as well as altering your charge-up and smart bomb skills.
Make it all the way to the end, and you'll find the game takes an unexpected twists. Defeating the final boss results in the two heroes having to make a choice between one of three treasure chests. Two of these lead the game's bad endings (included at the end of the video), whilst one contains untold wealth and riches.
All things considered, Spinmaster is a pretty good platformer, certainly one that's worth seeking out.

Well it’s really an unfair comparison, indie games are mostly made by random joes in their spare time. Games on the Neo geo are made by extremely talented artists/game designers who work for well known game companies like SNK, Hudsonsoft, Taito, you get the idea. NatsumeAtari has made some pretty great stuff recently like the new Ninja Warriors game but I wouldn’t exactly call them indie

Spin master, Data East grabbed a few sprites from their previous games (namely those two cowboys from Dashin’ Desperadoes, which is a great two player split screen platform game on the genesis, upgraded them a bit to roughly match the graphics standards of the time, and used them in a weird platformer, great game though.

I remember as as kId a learn every corner of the game, how much to waiting for kicking opponents which repetitively appeared etc.. and everytime i was so near to break the system record or to make it equal, but everytime i suck at one place or to made me lose 100 points or something...

I miss this comic book style, 2-D hand drawn sprite colorful over the top arcade stlye (VERY high replayability) game. It was mostly meant to take your quarters. the Arcade is gone. So games today aim for different interests, purposes. It's a contest now to see who can crank out the most realistic looking game. No replay value.

You must be talking about "Midnight Wanderers", it was part of a three-game arcade collection made by Capcom called "Three Wonders", along with "Don't Pull" (a puzzle game similar to "Lolo" games) and "Chariot" (a shmup like game, direct sequel of Midnight Wanderers)

Data East was a weird company who made in the 90's tons of (potentially cool, but) crappy games due to bad programming. But. Spin Master alongside Tumblepop were really amazing. I might have spend more than 1000 credits on both of them back in the days with my friends.
