Cool game but a lot more limited than FtD. Beyond a certain size of ship, it you have to disable a setting limit and it starts bogging down. Awesome potential for a game, but not the best in terms of optimization

@@grifballa Yeah, space engineers is alot more focused on the survival aspect, so anything remotely comparable to an FTD creation likes to either summon clang or break the game.

Lathrix Remember to add some Huge missiles, that are just small(ish) explosive barrels with magnets, like cluster bombs have their bomblets. It would be glorious to see tens of them falling on some poor crossbones. They also could act as depth charges, if a ballast tank is added. Also, remember to add a droppable sonar on your space station, so it can see underwater.

Pertty cool, The missile good for taking out smaller crafts while damaging bigger ones, as well as testing out funky missile warheads, while the laser destroy/disable bigger ships. The thing that's missing to me is some kind of Point Defense, either for missile, other crafts, or just space rubbish. Also, a self destruct button, wouldn't want your weaponized satellite falling under enemy hands, or leaking sensitive data. I would've also recommended a armory, in case of boarding action planing to steal the satellite, but guns in a space station doesn't seem like that smart tbh, so that's up to you. Otherwise, it's a really cool design that I wish I was creative enough to make.

You could decorate interiors with computer-looking blocks like ACBs, Fire control, Complex controller, Control terminal, Remote vehicle controller, etc. I would fill empty walls with them. Also in Decorations->Props there is Acoustic Sensor. It looks like a small antenna that would fit on spacecraft exteriors. And this mainframe that absolutely doesn't try to corrupt the ship would look nice with some LUA boxes. Just look at those red exposed circuits. Like breadboard but more evil. I wish I had that many ideas to decorate my crafts...

Haven't yet finished the video, but you could make the star arms entirely particle cannon tubes, but then use the decoration blocks to make it just look like metal. That way they can be decently strong while still looking good

I just got an image in my head of a Space Station with Top Hats Just imagine, a Marauder decides to take a long walk on a beach on a beautiful Sunday morning when suddenly, a legion of Larry controlled Lathrixian Top Hats descend from the heavens and purge everything that moves (and everything that doesn’t as well). Some fry brains with PAC’s, some use explosive sprinkles, and others shred off heads. Btw, Lathrix should make a prefab of a Larry holding a sign that says “Like the video or else”. Or he’s behind the sign and holding a decapitated head instead.

Small suggestion: Synchronize the PACs. Instead of blowing your load at that random block at the outside of the enemy craft and missing 90%, have a constant stream of beams with a low retargeting time. One of them might lobotomise them... Another suggestion: Add some hover drive to the pitch and roll thrusters (The sum of the drives shouldn't get above 100%; 20% hover and 80% pitch/roll could work well) and replace the thrusters on the bottom arms with moar PACs.
