I tried a different way of pouring the colors. I hope you give this a try. www.etsy.com/shop/mistyspringsbathbody. Facebook: Misty Springs Bath & Body.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. It's amazing that you had 94 years with your mom and that she was lucid and you spent that last evening with her. My mom was only 73 when she passed on January 2, 1985 and my young daughter and I had spent the evening before with her playing cards and visiting. May this new year bring you all you wish for. Your soap is very pretty and your videos are always informative and a pleasure to view. God bless.

+Shelley Moise Oh Shelley You are a love. You must have such a kind heart. It was a blessing to be with her as she passed. I was holding her hand and had my other hand on her wrist I felt her last heart beat. She was ready to go. At 94 she couldn't get out of a chair by herself & couldn't walk. She's in a better pace.Thanks for watching. Big Hugs and God bless. You are so kind.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, bot also so happy that you had that wonderful final day with her. I remember on Christmas Eve, when our Dad rallied out of a near coma to walk around and give my brother the most angelic smile and hug before he got tired again and lay down to rest. My brother was so encouraged that he went home to get a much needed night's rest himself while I stayed at Dad's bedside. He died early Chirstmas morning. Your story also brought back to my memory the day I went to visit my Aunt because her brother had said she was not making much sense and found her happily carrying on an animated conversation with her six pack of coke bottles !!!. I immediately got ahold of her daughter who is a nurse, who came up and got her to a Dr. as she, meaning my aunt, would not let me take her. She was diagnosed with a lung disease from working in a tire factory all of her life, but lived for many years after that My own mom passed at age 56 when I was just 20 so you were indeed blessed that you had her as long as you did What wonderful memories you must have !!!

I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing, Elaine. May God bring you comfort. I always pretend to be on a stool right there with you when you are soaping, so I gave you a hug when you spoke of your mother. I would encourage you for next Thanksgiving, to have a feast to honor your mother and not allow it to be such a very sad day. You should name this technique after her and perhaps it can be a soap challenge so that we can all celebrate her life.

Sorry about your mom! Good technique! Can you give tips on how to keep the batter pourable for some time.
@elainewright97507 жыл бұрын
Hi Neha, Thank you, Mom died the day after Thanksgiving It has been almost a year now. >> Low temp, lye water between 120 - 115 and oils within 5 degrees under the lye temp. Use a fo that does not accelerate your batter. I mix my colors with olive oil, I do not deduct those oils from my recipe. I'm not using that much extra oil that it makes a difference after I have stick blended. This is what works for me. I hope it works for you. :-)

Thank you, So glad I could inspire you. This bar was cut about 3 x 2 1/2. What I do when I make a slab like this I try not to waist too much soap. So I just take it from there. I am not making soap now. I will get back into it once we move. Thanks for watching and enjoy your soap making.

Hello! congratulations for the work, really beautiful! Please, how do you get such a net income and time for these creations? All very wonderful! another doubt: you use a product to prevent oxidation of the soap? How does one bar to rest like that? No need to cover? You use the oven? I'm sorry for so many questions, I am passionate about making soaps, and make a hobby. if you can send me some details in writing, I will be very grateful. once again thank you for sharing your wonderful works.

+bytheSEA Soap Mella Thank you. I tried it the other way and didn't like my results, so I thought I would try it a different way. I have to think on it some more cause I'm not happy with the center. I used Love Spell from BB
@cactuslily17548 жыл бұрын
beautiful! When you swirl, do you use full water? Your batter stays so fluid. Also, have you ever noticed when using TD, that if you SB it becomes whiter (and of course thicker) than when you just use a spoon to mix? I'm using "you" as a generalization, not you specifically. This is just something I have encountered. So sorry to hear about your mom. Prayers to you and your family. How wonderful you were able to spend such a happy day with her. As always, thanks for sharing!
@elainewright97508 жыл бұрын
+Amy Toiber Thank you and yes full water, Yes TD does get much whiter when you stick blend. The problem is the batter does get thicker. I do not stick blend for that reason. I only SB it I am doing a soap that I want my batter thicker.Thanks for your well wishes about my Mom. God bless her. She had a long life. It made it easier because of the length of life she lived. Hugs to you. :-)

I forgot to say, your soap is beautiful, by the way and I think you have invented your own twist on an old technique !!! I did like the center, though, even before you put your stick to it,.......in fact, I was hollering at the screen, no!!!no!!!! Leave it alone !!!! lol !!!! Soaping videos are the only videos that I ever yell at the screen !!!!! lol !!!!
