I am one of those people who thinks it's relaxing to watch fibers blended on a carder. that and watching someone spin art batts I could do all day. Love all of these so much! But the green one is awesome. And that last one with the pinks! What fun that would be to spin!

You have such a generous spirit, I hate that people are being mean to you about content you share freely with us, just because you don't tell them exactly what they want to hear. You aren't teaching a course, you're inviting us in for a peek at your creative process. Please don't take their words to heart, keep being you!

Donkey at the beginning had me laughing so hard!!!😂😂😂 I think I'm the same as you. You totally speak my language. I do like to watch and listen to the technical sides of all the things because I think it helps me understand what I like/why I do things the way I do but I don't consciously use it, I just do my thing. And I understand the dreaming of a certain space. There's a metal pole barn that was a car shop and then was turned into a gym that's now for sale near me that makes me dream of making it into a mill but I REALLY have no way to do that.

Every time you made a new batt, I thought this is my favorite one. I really liked the second one with the blue-green- copper. Names in order you made them: lava, horizon sunset, lagoon, little pony. It’s nice to have dreams and you never know how life will play out. I dream of having my own craft room, buying a floor loom with 4 or 8 shafts, a drum carter, a wheel and so on. I hope all of our dreams come true.

I thinks being an intuitive artist is a great way to put it, I wouldn’t have thought to say it that way. The way you talk about explaining stuff is exactly how I feel about talking with my husband about what I’m planning to knit/sew and how he can never picture it in his head like I can 😂

As someone with ADHD people often find my creative process chaotic but there's almost always a reason for the things that I do. Donkey is a beautiful soul! Hi Trish, I'm watching your video (Turning Tons of Wool/Silk/Bamboo/Firestar/Angelina Into Beautiful Batts on a Drum Carder) where you made 4 beautiful batts. The moment you start no. 3 batt, I knew that was my favorite. I think it looks like a tropical Island rocky reef. The colors remind me of the beautiful colors of the white sand, blue waters and underwater rocky reef, with fish swimming around. I would love to see what it looks like spun up. Did you sell the batt? Did you spin the batt? I'm curious, how much did it weigh? thanks again for all your beautiful and creative work. And, also for giving me so many wonderful ideas with colors and fibers, etc. xoxoxo

ah the INFJ brain, 😂, yeah explaining things takes more time than showing, and my thought process for explaining drives my family nuts. Is the fiber sticking to the licker because of static? I’m thinking about using an anti static spray like for clothing, yes/no? the batts are beautiful! I am in love with the 2nd one!
