That looks pretty nice. I added a separate power switch to my router, but have no speed control. You should consider changing the off button design to be a larger paddle or e-stop like button that is easier to hit instead of a small switch.

I love woodpeckers but Jessem has this beat hands down.

Nice to see these upgrades, while my setup works great (speed control on the motor and separate purchase on/off) it’s nice to be able to buy an all in one setup with the speed control outside of the dust box.

Looks good. Just a suggestion, but it looks like the mounting point should be a bit more beefy. It flexes every time you turn it on/off.

Are the electrical connections inside the controller box potted in Epoxy?

Nice and welcome upgrades to the original model. Like another commenter said, a larger paddle off switch would be nice safety feature. Also, looks like the mounting bracket can be installed on the right side as well, is that correct?

The motor might be better than a big box router body I dunno… but at this price I can’t believe you don’t have an emergency knee paddle “OFF” on the controller with a safety lock-out. Fail.
