The Auxiliary Rip Fence has a 12" infeed or outfeed plate. Interesting that they didn't make the Versa-Fence Face Upgrade infeed or outfeed plate with the same length, 7" rather than the 12". I don't know if that would even work with the Versa-Fence but just thought I'd mention that. I bought the Auxiliary Rip Fence and didn't even install it yet because of shoulder surgery. I really like the Versa-Fence Face Upgrade and I have the JessEm Clear Cut Stock Guides as well.

I have the Jessem guides mounted to plywood with maglocks securing them to my sawstop fence. One thing about mounting them to the center of the fence is that it allows them to be out of the way when cutting stock taller than the fence or when deciding to use a push block. It appears there won’t be enough room for that if they are on yhe edge of the fence like that

yep noticed that too. which means you have to remove them if you want taller stock to be placed against the fence. not often but still annoying. I have same setup with jessem as you and its very easy to swing them out of the way when not in use

LOL, built for the SawStop but doesn't ship with a fix for the indicator. Brilliant.

Looks like a nice solution, does Woodpeckers plan to make a version that will be compatible with the 2 fence styles Powermatic makes?

Do you have any comments about how flat the fence face is in comparison to the stock fence face plate? And, what do you think the major pros and cons to the Versafence in comparison to the stock fence? Nice video.

It's definitely much flatter that's for sure. But I have a few favorite features with this fence. #1, I like the added support I get with the 48" fence, especially when the indeed support is installed when I'm cutting larger workpieces. I also like how the Jessem Stock Guides fit perfectly in the T-slot. I've been wanting to add those to my saw for awhile but really didn't want to drill into my fence to install them. I also really like the tray that is attached to the right side of the fence. It's nice having a tray to house all my little tools that I always use at the table saw. I like how the tray slides along with the fence so they're always right where I need them, but never in the way when I need to slide the fence left and right.

@@mowderwoodwork Thanks, I think this will work for me.

@ awesome! Let me know how you like it!

What about the scale accuracy? Is it the exact same thickness as the stock fence you removed?
@mowderwoodwork17 күн бұрын
@@lpsg405 it’s not, the stock fence is about 1/2” thick and this fence is 7/8” thick. There isn’t enough adjustment on the indicator piece, but I just grabbed a small file and made the slot about a 1/16th inch wider, and I was able to dial it in just fine. Woodpeckers is also coming out with something to answer that issue. Once I get my hands on whatever that solution is I’ll share it here on KZbin.

I hope the scale “fix” is not a costly one. It really should be included, even if it comes out later or at least don’t charge $12 to ship😮

When I hear "Woodpeckers", I'm out. Their company slogan should be: "Making woodworking expensive again."

Ummm yeah your way took longer than using the mag switch method. Shill.
