NEVER HOLD THIN WIRES ON THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE POST AT THE SAME TIME! If there's any voltage in it at all , you will get your thumbs/fingers burnt badly. #1 The wire gauge is way to small! #2 Not a smart thing to do,EVER! Make sure you use a meter and eliminate the risk!!

The 1st & second wash should be with Bicarbonate of sodium & the 3rd wash should be with MgSo4 (Epsom salt). The adding of acid should be done with precise dilution, to get a specific gravity of between 2.6 to 3.0. (You need a hygrometer for this).

Ja sam to uradio u nuzdi. Iz aku sam isprao talog koji je napravio kratak spoj (obicnom vodom jet nisam imao drugo) i vratio istu kiselinu. Aku je radio nekoliko dana dok nisam stigao kuci i kupio drugi. To je bio motocikl, ne za anlaser ali ipak bitan za rad motora.

I'm skeptical that this method can restore a battery. How about putting the battery under a load tester for a minute or two? I can get almost any battery to read voltage on a meter. The only way to really know if it's good is to do a load test and an ampere hour test.

The “one-minute” mind-blowing repair trick is just that, a trick that takes in reality an hour to complete. The video is 18.05 minutes long which alone dispels the myth of ONE minute. By the time you have gathered all the “pots and pans”, disconnected the battery, cleaned it, got your Coke, gloves and multimeter and discarded the dirty fluid responsibly, it is lunchtime. While it might seem like a good idea to physically clean the plates of a lead-acid battery to revive it, is often ineffective or even harmful. 1. Sulfation is the Main Problem: The primary cause of lead-acid battery failure is sulfation. This is the formation of lead sulphate crystals on the plates, which reduces the battery's ability to hold a charge. Simply washing the plates won't effectively remove these hardened crystals. The battery might hold a voltage but as soon as a load is applied the voltage collapses in a very short time. 2. Limited Effectiveness: Even if you could safely clean the plates, it's unlikely to significantly revive a severely sulphated battery. The chemical changes that occur during sulfation are often irreversible. If the battery is severely sulphated or has reached the end of its lifespan, it's best to replace it with a new one. In conclusion: While the idea of cleaning battery plates might seem appealing, it's generally not a practical or effective way to revive a lead-acid battery. The time you spent driving to the Depot/Hardware shop to buy sulphuric acid, [not possible in all counties] you might as well buy a new SEALED battery with a 2-year warranty.
