I read the Dominican Republic, the Spanish part of the Island did well and wanted to keep aligned with Spain, but eventually they broke away from Spain and their economy did well. Some of their presidents were dictators, but one also concentrated on preserving the national forest instead of cutting them down and that’s part of Haiti’s problem because they cut most of their forest down, which contribute toward landslides and topsoil being blown away so they couldn’t farm as well, etc.

Maybe people live there, are visiting family, or they’re there for work purposes. Flight doesn’t equal vacation

Y'all got Haiti all wrong. I promise you. Other than the safety issues. You couldn't have more fun than anywhere else in the world than Haiti. But you are reflecting on what you're seeing in the News. And reason Haiti is like this is because we really free the slaves. Learn our history and you will know what Haiti is. Once upon a time we were richer than the whole Caribbean put together. No don't laugh I'm serious 😂 it sounds funny. But we really was. It's that the supremacy doesn't want us to be great because we are the first Republic. First African descent nation to put an end to slavery. Than help many other countries. We been helping Americans fighting the British since the 1700s. Do your research Haiti is not messed up just because. We are a strong group of a nation capable of doing many great things because we carry the hearts of an 1804 warrior and don't forget it😤💪🏿🙌🏿🇭🇹🫶🏿
