I just got this costume today (I work at spirit so I was able to grab the only one we got in my size) and I might try a few of these. I'm also thinking about adding a few things that are less movie accurate and more from the comics, like extra mag pouches and shotgun shells on the straps.

If I were you I would get some red puff paint to recreate the texture the suit haves in the movie, it make the suit look and feel more real. It will take a lot of time but it with it imo.

Got a wolvie suit, gonna try the Velcro tip on the back and belt, use eva for the shoulder pads, and even try weathering it to give a more gritty look like midway through the movie

I think adding some shading and weathering to the suit might help. Bring out those flatter areas. Or if wanting to go a textured look maybe grabbing mesh or something that can resemble clothing texture and with black lightly spray over the red parts. Sadly I still see some bulking in the mid section of the costume. It's not a perfect fit, but it is better.

we’ve gotten remember this is still a halloween costume with quite brittle fabrics, too much customization to that can leave it stiff, and easy to break or tear, I always wanted to keep this budget friendly! Great suggestions, and unfortunately there’s a bit of padding in the chest, I had considered taking it out, but that would’ve made it much larger

Yeah! When it’s super super sunny, it can be a little bright, just make sure the mesh you buy has good visibility!

Question: I want to attach the gloves to my costume because in some photos I have of myself in the suit I see a little bit of skin. Do you by any chance have any recommendations or advice on how to attach gloves to the suit? (Btw your video helped me a lot in upgrading my suit!)

you could line the rim of the gloves with velcro and attach it to the insider of the sleeve!

​@@mas._.k_ Update: it worked well! Though initially, it was a bit of a messy process. Lining it up in my case wasn't easy as with one mistake would hold me back a bit because of how strong the adhesives are on the velcroes. Now I managed to make it work. One thing I noticed tho was a bit of white stretch marks, but honestly it was no big as all I had to do was roll it up and the final product looked great! I really appreciate the advice dude. (Btw I'm adding golden desert eagle props and holsters to the suit 🔥)

Maybe some better elastic attached to the underside of the shin guards, it’ll help hold them down if you put it under your foot, then boot your boots on!

While I was upgrading my Deadpool costume, I realized like damn the most annoying thing for me would have to be the flap at the bottom of the shin guards, idk I’m feeling like removing that would help. Like I’m thinking cutting a red piece of it and adding it onto some black boots/shoes would make it look pretty good too.

Yall, i got the wolverine costume, I was able to cut the sleeves off, if you own the costume, all you gotta do is follow the line where the yellow meets the black part of the armpit, and cut off the yellow until only the black part remains, its easy as long as you have scissors and can follow the lines!
