Krishna Kaur leads us through the full practice for the Spirit Voyage 40 Day Global Sadhana: Releasing Fear. This meditation is practiced to help us release fear and balance our emotions.
The proceeds for this Global Sadhana benefit Y.O.G.A for Youth. Krishna Kaur founded this nonprofit organization that is dedicated to training yoga teachers to work with at-risk youth and creating yoga programs in schools and juvenile facilities. Spirit Voyage offers free Global Sadhanas for our community throughout the year - this is your opportunity to give back by serving those in need. It is our honor to support the mission of Y.O.G.A for Youth along with you!

Today, I completed my 40 days. Thank you. For me, the 1st and the 18th day were the most difficult ones, my body trembled a lot. Only through the last week of doing the meditation was I able to chant the mantra without excessive salivation. There is one problem; this meditation will become part of my Sadhana. I am planning to combine it with other '40 Day Global Sadhana'. Right now, I am inclined to Ajeet: Be The Light, and another one not yet decided. Thanks again to Krishna Kaur, the girls and Spirit Voyage for the opportunity.

Picked up the mantra very quickly and easily! The arm movements for 23.5 minutes is quite challenging. Had to make many breaks in between but I love the way it made me feel. Will do this for the next 40 days! Looking forward to what it might open!

Sat Nam Krishna Kaur, thank you for this meditation. I am 75 and cannot wave my arms up & down but...with my palms together I was able to follow for 23 minutes today. Thank you.

just persist as the time goes arms get stronger and you last a little longer but it is lovely.

I am so out of practice but I remember the retreats and we would do these Kryias for 30 to an hour. It was amazing because it didn't feel like an hour you can only feel everyone's energy next thing you know everyone is laughing

It's not easy the mantra to sing, but I like very much I added in my last article on the autumn equinox Aadays Tisai Aadays Aad Aneel Anaad Anaahat Jug Jug Ayko Vays I can not find the sound of the mantra in the written lyrics

Sat nam🙏🏼 Can i do this meditation in a shorter version like for 11 minutes and still get the benefits of this practice cuz this is to much for me my arms couldn't handle it..

Yes - you can start with 11 minutes and work your way up - but we encourage you to challenge yourself. You are capable of so much more than your mind wants to tell you!. Try the 23 1/2 minutes. Rest when you need to, and come back to it when you are ready. Yogi Bhajan prescribed different lengths of time for different meditations to achieve maximum benefit, so we always try to encourage you to practice in the way it was taught. Here is how meditating for different lengths of time impacts you: 3 minutes: Affects circulation (blood) and electromagnetic field. 11 minutes: Changes glandular system and nerves. 22 minutes: Balances and coordinates the three minds. 31 minutes: Affects all the cells and rhythms of the body and all layers of the mind’s projection. 62 minutes: Changes the gray matter of the brain. Integrates the subconscious “shadow mind” and the outer projection. 2 ½ hours: Holds the new pattern in the subconscious mind by the surrounding universal mind.

When you state: "when you miss a day start over again", do you mean start again counting from day 1 to day 40? so do you mean start again the whole cycle? i do not think that was the intention, but it sounded like it...

Sat Nam SafiraApollo - yes, the recommendation on a 40 day sadhana is that if you miss a day, you start over from day 1.

Hi..I am on my half of 40days sadhana of ajai alai 11min and pavan guru 11min..can I do this also or better wait to finish? Sat nam..tnx😇

that is totally up to you, love! you might choose to practice your regular sadhana in the morning, and do this one in the evening. whatever works best in your life right now!

my cat lewis loves it when i do this. he comes and purrs infront of the computer and goes quite crazy rolling around on his back. must be the great energy. ! its a great sadhana and very powerful for balancing the emotions. MERCI!

Ha.. Some... To say the least.. Lol im happy i tried.. Im going to switch to another more easier to fall sleep too. ... This is Advanced HIIT Yoga needs the Power from the Sun, ill try in the AM after my smoothie and Bee Pollen.. Namaste Loves 🌹
