Two great vocalists who are friends having fun on stage is just great. Tati and Eugene are very complimentary of SB and have said IWABO was an influence. And theres video from 2014 of Courney with IWABO reacting to Jinjer, and Courtney being very complimentary. And now here we are.

I've been a fan of Jinjer since 2017 and saw them live in 2018. I've listened to their whole catalogue and believe they are the BEST Metal Band of this generation and that goes for the musicians (Roman, Eugene, and Vlad) as well as Tati being the best vocalist and songwriter ever! I started hearing of Spiritbox probably around 2018-2019 but didn't really listen to any of their music until the past year or so. It's very easy to want to compare the two bands because they both have female leads with beautiful cleans and great harsh vocals. It's great to see a collab from them and I enjoyed it very much. I will say though that while their music is similar they each have their own unique style and neither tries to copy the other. Likewise, Tati and Courtney can clearly work magic together, but each has their own unique style and for that I applaud and admire each.

When they did the “circle with me” scream in unison, literal tears. Because, my goodness that was beautiful. How did I not know my two very favorite bands in the world did a collab??? My heart is happy right now. Personally, I think Tati’s screams are more “mature”, but I also really love the contrasting sounds. They both are so good at maximizing on what they both organically have. And you are so right about Courtney’s cleans. The control she has and the way she utilizes breath work and dynamics makes her sound like she’s hypnotizing you.
