The best collaboration we needed, and they didn't rehearse it ahead of time either. Need to check out Jinjer's new tune 'Green Serpent'.

I know exactly what you are talking about. That feeling of pride and joy when someone you absolutely ADORE gets the attention and call out they deserve. Watching Tatiana in this collab gives me tears of joy and goosebumps all over. It was a very synergistic collaboration that we definitely need more of. Great reaction! Thank you!

Yep. Same. I don't know that there's a performer I've ever loved more than Tatiana. I'm going to see P!nk live in three days. I'll keep you posted.

It was the best performance of the festival 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Lol this is up there for one of the best collabs of the year in metal. Tati is a gr8 vocal technician for false chord harsh-clean switches as usual 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)

It brings tears to my eyes too brother, powerful

@@ryanhalien8468 I didn't expect the tears. But it just means it's powerful and important stuff.

Yeah this one hits me like that too. Not just the best collaboration of the year--I'd make the case this is one of the best ever. Two of the best singers I've ever heard, in a song that's a perfect showcase for both of their amazing talents. Each shines on her own, but the real magic happens when they sing together. The torch is being passed to the women in metal. Long live the queens.

Nothing overdubbed. Just the tracks from the soundboard excellently mixed by Josh (bass, 3rd voice)
@gtrsean24292 ай бұрын
This was done with "zero" rehearsal involving Tatiana. Tatiana simply hit the deck and did her thing. 🤘BTW, the audio was recorded at the mixing desk, and I've read it was mixed by the bass player. I think his name is Josh?

As someone who came up doing live shows I think it's underappreciated how awesome that is.
@ericpeterson75122 ай бұрын
Yep it's Josh, and he gets my nomination for live mix of the year. He worked some magic here. It sounds pretty much perfect to me, and good God Tatiana sounds unearthly awesome!

Tati is great at and loves improvisation. She prefers to procrastinate before recordings instead of composing, then just improvise at the recording studio. The video to Wallflower is supposed to symbolise the rest of the band trying to get her to do lyrics haha.

I'm completely and utterly obsessed with Jinjer. I much prefer this version of the song to the original and I've been in an emotional tailspin since this video came out. This combo is everything and hopefully will put my eyes and ears on Jinjer 🤘💙🇺🇦💛🤘

You and me both my friend. This video dropped around the time I was seeing Jinjer live for the 4th time. Words aren't enough for how good they are. My favorite band since Rush retired. No better singer on the planet than Tati. She's the queen of my world lol

I'm a huge fan of Jinjer! Like I said in the video probably my favorite reactions to do are Jinjer. And yes, this combo is amazing!

Two metal queens giving us one epic performance. Tatiana has a number of collaborations with other bands. All are worth a reaction. If you are a proud girl daddy and want songs about woman empowerment, I highly recommend reacting to "Night Witches" (Animated Story Video) by Sabaton. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4qzoGuwedCpr5Y

The way recordings like this are done all the sound sources are split three ways. One split goes to the front of house PA the other to the monitors and the other to multitrack (usually a computer through an interface). So anything that goes wrong with either of the other two feeds won't affect the others. The festival usually doesn't provide that method of recording however the band has to request it. Which is why most of the recordings from these festivals are so bad even in their promotional materials.

Yeah. I've heard stories and been backstage when another band is essentially fighting with the venues mixing guys to set it up and they are so adamant about not helping them. It's sad really.

@@mcflyjp Basically bar bands who carry their own gear around have a better chance of getting a decent recording of their performances in situations like that than bands at that level.
@ericpeterson75122 ай бұрын
@@coder4libertyHey man how you goin. Wow I'm sorry to hear that. This recording and mix are dang near perfect to my ears. Josh did a great job. I'm so grateful this was captured with such good fidelity.
