My wife, son and I were lucky enough to see Thrice almost immediately before the lockdown; was the best "going away present" (to put it one way) we could have wished for. And now that I've discovered Spiritbox, prolly a couple other bands as well, and pretty much every one of my favorite bands has put out a new Covid Album, I have the feeling that we will have to keep ourselves alive with nothing more than ramen, generic store cereal, and cheap white bread for a month or two so we can afford to go see all the bands that will be touring at the same time once this shit ends...

Fun fact, he's so focused because the original drum track got lost/deleted, so he had to re-record everything. He looks so focused because he had to be to make sure he was perfectly in time with everyone else as he wasn't performing with the rest of the band when re-recording. (Michael, Courtney, and Bill were recording this in British Columbia while Zev was in the states - this was during COVID which is why all 4 were not together to record.)

Same here, just add a couple more years. I didn't even know this band, but their song Mara Effect part 3 was in a Spotify playlist that I was listening to in bed going to sleep. It was beautiful and took me into sleep. In the morning I scoured that playlist and eventually found the song again. Been hooked ever since. Great band. Hopefully this time next year will have seen them live, along with Code Orange and Jinjer.

I started listening to Thrash metal in the '80s and listened to many genres of metal music (I still like them), but when I heard these guys, for the first time, everything was different, the connection was immediate and very strong, it was love at first sight.

This band is so fucking great. After years of being kinda burnt out on metal, spiritbox was exactly what I needed to suck me right back in. The mix of djenty hardcore riffs with courtneys amazing vocals makes for a fucking absolutely perfect mix of heavy and melodic.
