Courtney said this was the first song she wrote for this EP. And once she had this she knew it was going to be a concept album. All six songs are about the same character's journey of realizing their fate and first resisting it, then giving into it... and repeating the loop. That's why every song transitions into the next, and the end of the EP transitions into the first song if you loop it.

I never thought they could writing a song as if not more beautiful than Eternal Blue, but this and Ultraviolet have been on loop since they released and I've been a watery mess every listen. This whole EP is phenomenal, they are on a completely different level to every other band both musically and conceptually. Spiritbox are storytellers and every little EP release is like a novel that flows so perfect.
