My mama used to sing "Bringing in the Sheaves" and early this morning making my coffee I was singing it and had to text her. We love TEF's version and I sing it all the time. My 7yo boy enjoys listening to this music as well as other hymns too. Our children will carry it forward! ❤

I've always loved Tennessee Ernie Ford's voice since I was a little boy in the early 1960's. Especially when he sang very deep Bass notes.

I've always loved Tennessee singing spirituals. He was probably the best singer for this genre. P.s. My poor mother was becoming bedridden with f.o.p. so hard for her.she would listen to this and could leave misery for awhile. I'd put this on ànd she would sing along with these songs .I too was moved and would sing along with her.she especially loved peace in valley.the peaceable kingdom she now has she died in 1972.her battle is over.god be with you till we meet at she feet.thank you so very much.
