Dear John, I’m left with a deep desire to give back to you at least a fraction of the comfort you have so generously given me, and so many others, over these last few years. But I realise that, given the enormity of the boon you have bestowed upon us, that may be easier said than done. At least I can say “thanks”! Thanks for always keeping it real. Thanks for your lucidity. For your courage in the face of old age; an old age that awaits all of us, God willing. Thanks for your limitless patience in dispelling our stubborn ignorance. Thanks for being more than a “teacher”: an interpreter of Spirit. I feel closer to It than ever before. Much love dear friend and brother. What a gift you have been.

Very well said. I've tried to repay him by incorporating his philosophies into my own spirituality, and it has improved my life and the lives of those around me by proxy. I also spread his message and share his content. I think that, aside from making a financial contribution to a cause he supports (kind of low effort but better than nothing), is the best way to repay him. Spreading his message/sharing his videos and trying to live a better life based on his advice is how I try to repay him, but that's just me. Not trying to dictate anything, far from it. That would be the pinnacle of hypocrisy, just sharing how I go about it.

I just loved the interview. Johns explanation of what is organic touched me. “Sick people attract parasites”. He is a holy man or the closest thing to saintliness I’ve ever come across. Thank you John for your wisdom

An enriching interview. John's view of organic farming includes the entirety of what it means to be human and spirit. Thank you, both, for this wonderful exchange.

I'm 60 and so much of John's upbringing and his beliefs about the land and farming reflect my own so closely. I too was raised close to the land and animals and remain so. I still work on a farm. Sadly the time of farming is now quickly disappearing. It soon will be all but extinct as we see people like Gates buying up hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of acres of land. He now the largest farmland owner in the US. It's so sad to witness this healthful way of life dying. I truly believe that as we lose our connection to the land we also loose our connection to God. My opinion I know, but I believe that millions sense the same thing.

God bless you John. Such a bright and loving soul. I pray to one day gain even a fraction of the wisdom you've shared with me these past few weeks I've discovered you. Things are incredibly difficult as me and my entire family are homeless and both my parents are abusive. But you've kept me up out of the darkness and are helping me with my relationship with God. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Mr. Butler, I share your deep appreciation of nature, and after watching several of your videos (which have, and continue to, help me through very difficult times) I haven't heard anyone ask your opinion on Bob Ross. He is another person I find to be spiritually enlightened, and has also been a great help in finding my own stillness and exudes a calmness almost devoid in modern society. I was curious if, firstly, you're familiar with his work and what you think of it, but also your thoughts on his philosophies, morals and overall outlook on life and spirituality. Would greatly appreciate to hear your thoughts, and it may even make for a good video. If you've read this, thank you and I hope that two of my most influential spiritual guides can appreciate each other, and despite Bob having passed, I have a feeling he would also have been a fan of yours. Thanks again for the help your advice has provided me, and I don't think I'm alone in my curiosity of your "critique" of Mr. Ross's work, both artistically and otherwise. *PS To anyone who agrees, please like the comment for a better chance of it happening!

That’s so cute when John says he said as a boy,’ I came into this world to be a farmer’.. Someone I was assisting at work told me his five year old boy made the same declaration about FARMING..I exclaimed- stay out of his way! 😂☺️

All creatures are compelled to consume other lifeforms-be it other animals or vegetation. So why is it that in this video, it seems humans alone amongst all creatures, are regarded as deserving of condemnation simply for doing what is natural and necessary to survive?(That's not to say humanity's behaviour in other ways is not something to be changed). And he tells the girl not to judge the way farming used to be done, but he has negative things to say about the modernisation of farming that's taken place since he began being a farmer, which was no doubt introduced in order to help make the work of farming easier.

I just don't get this.I feel for this beautifull women trying to hold a reasonable conversation and trying to understand John's drift.He's just too far out for that.Which isn't to say he might not be right....Just that I can't get it.

I love John but is anybody else tired of ASMR? Can you tone down the quality of the mic? We don't need to hear the processes of the body, etc.
@darrylschultz939511 ай бұрын
How's that supposed to be accomplished when the other sounds emitted are of a similar volume to the voice? Stopping the video to remove every little sound that's not his voice would not be worth the effort for the tiny improvement gained.
