Two ways to climb a tree. Push flat head into groove and then push in a downward motion toward center of pin, and then pull up with flat at end of Spirolox end will pop out.
Second method, get the tip with a flat head, on end of spriolox, wedge it up that end and pull it out toward you with flat head..
Smaller(flat head) is better in this senerio.
