Filmed seven years ago but restored material and upscaled to 4K using Topaz. Filmed in Sweden at Skå-Edeby airfield just outside Stockholm. But its the sound from the Merlin engine that steel your heart :)

One of the finest Spitfire display videos of the digital age. Beautiful surroundings, excellent sound, and.... what a display.

This is the best airshow video I've seen in years. The piloting, the quality, the sound... It's all pure perfection. Thank you Jesper.

Flew with Pär once during the summer of 1982. Not in a Spitfire though, but a SK61 Scottish Aviation Bulldog😊

Excellent video, Jesper. There is something to the Merlin. No matter what airplane you put it on, it just sound right.

The early Spits looked Good, the cutbacks are awesome. And Your filming skills just add a beautiful dimension. I would love to see the wartime Hawkers at the same time, Hurrican, Thypoon, Tempest and Sea Fury, Sir S Camm had a saying in all of these and the weirdest of them all, a thing only a mad Englishman could create the Harrier, so advanced for its time that the Amercans just a couple of years agoo could make something similar, but that one has a special lift motor, not any smart thinking, just raw power.

Great video. The plane had 4 leading edge cannon shrouds but 2 cannon feed bulges?
