In this video we take another trip to Spitfires.com at Goodwood, with big thanks to Az and Matt Jones. We were given a huge surprise when Matt told us we were going up in the Airvan and he was going to form up on us in the air.
Following this we take a flight in the sim in the Silver Spitfire from Burning Blue Design Goodwood Aerodrome to Compton Abbas.

The radar installation on top of Portsdown hill belongs to what used to be called ASWE (Admiralty Surface Weapons Establishment) and became ASRE (Admiralty Signals and Radar Establishment). When I used to work at IBM North Harbour at the foot of the same hill, it had to have shielding built in to the structure to protect the main frame computers from being screwed by the strong radar signals.

Great vid mate looked like a fantastic day out love G-ILDA new BOB livery fits her so well was absolutely looking forward to this video being released, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with flyingiron spit every time I put her on autopilot and change the heading it just constantly turns dive bombing into the ground lucky i stop it from actually hitting the ground but hopefully that issue gets fixed at some point, keep up the great work mate Was very very sad to hear about yesterday accident at Coningsby, my heart goes out to the pilot family and friends and work colleagues 😢😢, Fly High Sir thank u for your service 😥😔

Wow! Just wow - Loved this vid. G-IRTY looks fabulous in MSFS, scenery is gorgeous. I have LO-G as a custom skin (not MSFS), Osgood Hanbury X4382, she looks a bit tatty. Love the Cam of shame - I like to see a bounce! Lol!

Great video. I was lucky enough to get 30 minutes in Grey Nurse T7 Spitfire up a Biggin Hill a couple of weeks ago. I was only dropping some parts off, next thing I knew I was doing victory rolls over Kent. It should be on everyone’s bucket list. Keep up the great work.

What did you think of update 15 I Use VR and it's improved things a lot probably because of memory allocation. Have you tried BURNING BLUE OLD WARDEN with airshow addon animated crowd and sounds if you go external among them. Nice video I would have used the AIRSHOW ASSISTANT and had a wing man.

SU15 is great. Feels smoother. Yes the Airshow addon for Old Warden came out after I had done the video but it certainly adds to it. I like the airshow addon but so much or it around I am leaving it out of videos at the moment.

Would be able to share which presets you have loaded for Accuseason for the Terrain and Vegetation please? It looks really good and would love to give it a whirl.

Many thanks, I am just using the auto update so at the moment there is no terrain mask being downloaded as the default is ok. Otherwise my tree height is medium and canopy is the uneven (can’t remember what the official term is! 🤣)

Try uninstalling REX AccuSeason and clearing your cache that should get rid of those stutters

@@Dreamsofwings But those stutters in your sim I’m sure are caused by Rex AccuSeasons I had the same until uninstalling it and clearing the cache regularly even with it set to off
