I feel for Creator, there's a lot of pressure on him right now... Prime is going through a pretty rough time, they're 1-12 in map score for SPL this round, and they recently lost a few players as well (Billowy, State, Myungsik, Zoun). I'm sure Creator really wants to do his best to try and carry the team, and losing to a proxy 2 rax like that is already devastating enough...

After seeing the marine at the ramp, why doesn't protoss just make a pylon wall at the top of their ramp? Don't even need to let it finish, just cancel if they are about to die or finish and build a new one. Then just make stalkers and it's easy hold.

Loppy2345 Protoss doesn't have 300 minerals at that time, and the marine is there to pressure the probe (forces probe pull). If he manages to get the wall up anyways he'll have fewer minerals for the stalker (delayed) and terran can force his way in. Koreans don't do a pylon wall because it's simply too much of an investment for the small amount of time it provides (it delays you for longer than it delays him). It's just a hard situation for protoss, and if you commit too much (things like making pylon walls, huge probe pulls, etc) the terran can end up ahead anyways.

theunabletable He scouted the rush at 3.30 and had over 200 minerals, if he had kept mining he would easily have made it in time, after the wall is up, the pylon will build faster than the marine dps. Even if the pylon is about to die, he can cancel and build a new one. Then he could easily get a stalker out by 4.30 and would be easy hold from there.

Loppy2345 Actually he doesn't even need to do pylon wall, all he needed to do was use the zealot and a few probes to kill the bunker on high ground, chronoboost stalkers out and it would have been easy win. The 2 rax build is supposed to counter a nexus first, a standard protoss build should have crushed this. After the game finished, Creator realised this and that's why he's so ashamed :'( Pulling all the probes was probably the worst thing he could have done. The bunker wasn't even in range of the nexus or gateway so he didn't even have to kill the bunker to be honest.

Loppy2345 If he attempted to do this, creator would be down 300 minerals and maru could have continued building up his marine count and also began producing marauders to push up and break down a pylon regardless of a stalker or two being there. Other transitions are also possible, maru upon seeing the 3 pylons could very easily stop the attack, expand and win guaranteed based off of that giant of a loss in minerals that early on top of his already top of the line standard play. His pressure on denying a protoss expand with bunkers when the protoss already invested into 3 extra pylons so early is so insanely strong.
