Splash Mountain is a log flume at Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South. Although there are variations in the story and features between the three locations, each installation begins with a peaceful outdoor float-through that leads to indoor dark ride segments, with a climactic steep drop into a "briar patch" followed by an indoor finale. The drop is 50 feet (15 m).

@@theangryfireball1023 I can’t see what’s wrong with the movie is because I took American history ,the movie is based on post civil war they aren’t slaves ,they are sharecroppers ,the reason they are singing about picking is because they make money from picking ,I don’t see racism because it’s a fact that it was all true that sharecroppers were a huge job from the south ,I am not offended either since my generations came to the us were farmers as well ,I do call it gay because it’s true the ride had no reasons to be canceled it’s Brer Rabbit which was an African folklore ,princess and the frog is from Europe which are 2 differences

This is the final year for the DisneyLand California version of Splash Mountain before being renovated in May with a new ride opening some time in the Q4 months of 2024

JohnYChen, thanks for showing footage with the A7SIII. Do you keep Autofocus on usually? I am not going to lie though, but I honestly hated this video. The music is distracting and the color grading is horrible -- way too many highlights and weird shadows. Also, your stabilization is bad because I can see micro jitters -- have you ever heard of gyro stabilization? In the future please don't waste people's time with these sub par videos. Please do your research ahead of time. I would appreciate if you check out my recent videos and provide HONEST feedback. I am trying to improve my HDR performance. The music is part of the ride. No autofocus is used. Filming a moving ride POV is extremely difficult, have you ever tried it? There is no control in lighting and everything changes really quickly. Active stabilization was used. Run-and-gun filming with rapidly changing lighting and focus is a big challenge. I would challenge anyone to try and film a better splash mountain video. Please go to Disneyland and show me how it is done. If you know of any techniques to improve, I am always open to learn new techniques. Just remember to film rides, you cannot carefully set up your shots like a normally planned video.

@@johnychen Well if you look at my recent videos I think you will see how POV is actually done well. I am not sure why you used active stabilization when Gyro is so much better. I will gladly show you how it is done next time I go.

@vee travels Wow your message was as rude as it was condescending. I peeped over to your channel and there was nothing but uninteresting work. I found there to be a lot of noise which only added to my disappointment. I honestly think you’re the last person to be offering unasked for help. Johnny thanks for preserving this attraction I’m glad I was able to enjoy the queue, music and ride. The audio and visuals weren’t perfect, but it was very enjoyable. Liked.
