On the way there, everyone loud and gyaffin'. On the way home, everyone quiet and sleepy. Those are the best kinds of days.

It’s a lot more crowded than I expected it to be, but happy to see people having a good time.
@preacherboss54353 жыл бұрын
Where there is looting and freebie, you always get a crowd. Those guys should start charging $1000:- per head and you would see the crowd diminish. At least put signs its illegal to block and sit on the bridge and start handing out tickets. Something should be done about this vulgarity.

It is on the Linden Soesdyke highway about 45 mins. from Georgetown.You get there from the East Bank Demerara road, it is right besides the highway, can't miss it.

Why is all the activities so close to the roadway. It should be more off road.
@Bantu-King4 жыл бұрын
@Culture Freedom future development has to be done differently. The roads are the size of a walkway.

@@Bantu-King King, this is Madewini Creek and its freebie all the time. Nobody in control and the Authorities is doing nothing to stop it. Splashmin is at back with gates at side. You pay $800 to get inside and enjoy yourself with family. One of these days things will happen when an uncontrolled driver will break loose and smash into people along the barriers. Nobody seems to care !!!!

@@preacherboss5435 A sad case of affairs. This is because there is not a functioning local government or municipalities.
@preacherboss54353 жыл бұрын
@@Bantu-King Truly said, but this is Govt. Lands and I am sure there are laws pertaining to not build or construct and occupy lands along the Highway or Creeks unless you are a hundred feet away from the roadway. Eventually, people will start jumping off the bridge rails into the creek., like Tarzan off the tree.
