no problem. im pretty much used to people throwing games in ranked unfortunately. it's very annoying but at the end of the day ranks aren't really important anyway, so it's ok. what matters more is that you showed up here and help me spread some knowledge, thanks mate!

What can i do with shells

you can give them to murch, the sea urchin guy at the lobby entrance and he can make your clothes have more slots on them and more stars, so they level up quicker from battles. those sea snails are the only way to make certain clothes like the amiibo gear have 3 slots on them, since they never appear in shops to enhance them there. or you can hoard your super sea snails and show off with how many you have at the end... (it's pointless to not spend them imo, but many people collect them because sea snails can usually only be obtained by splatfests, so they are pretty rare and limited)

@@lutr0_679 you're welcome, mate^^ ps: murch also let's you reroll full 3 slot clothes, but i would not waste precious sea snails for that, as you can do the same thing by just scrubbing them for coins and then leveling them again in battles. this reroll option is only to speed up that process but there is no real benefit to that. i would just not touch that option at all if you wanna get good value out of your hard earned sea snails.
