Chugga's going through these weapons by order of unlock, but on some levels you unlock 2 types of weapons and you have to wonder which one he's tackling first. But when the last episode ends with "Next time we're going to be going over...uuuugh." You know that it's a charger. Go pause and look at all the details in the transition, though. Seeing all the ocean channel puns is worth a few chuckles.

Ah, the Goo Tuber, the weapon intended to take the most interesting new mechanic of the Charger Class to the next level, by having a much more lenient charge storage ability. What a shame that everything else about it had to suffer this much as a trade-off. And the pay-off isn't as strong as one would hope, either. Of course, something would have to give for such an ability, but yikes. Hopefully Splatoon 3 is a little kinder to it. Thought for sure you were gonna pass this thing off to another guest, but props to you for... trying. I guess.

Going by the name of the weapon, sounds like the Goo Tuber should make the ground it turfs sticky & trap players in place until they ink themselves free. It also makes the Suction Bomb (Splatoon's version of sticky grenades) more thematically appropriate, but at that point it's better off being renamed Glue Tuber instead.

You know, watching you play, and listening to what you said about the goo tuber's strengths and weaknesses, I think you're thinking of it and the bamboozler the wrong way. You might find it better to think about chargers that specialize in partial charges as single-shot splatlings. You've talked a lot about how partial charges are the best for splatlings, and with that being the goo tuber and bamboozler's strengths, I think you're getting caught up in the idea that they're chargers, and that you're generally supposed to well, charge them. Just something I noticed after you said you needed to stop going for full charges, then kept doing so. It might be easier to shift your perception of the weapons.

I love that someone searched up how to get good at the game and got a Goo Tuber guide lmao As someone who's played Goo Tuber since launch because I think it looks funny, I appreciate your honest attempts to say some good things about it. I know there's not much there! It may be really difficult to land shots with it, more than any other charger, but when you do land a shot it feels great. At the start of 2 it was complete garbage, but currently in 2 it's just outclassed...maybe in Splatoon 3 it will actually be good? Us four Goo Tuber mains can hope!

I will be honest here, I much prefer watching you try with a weapon you are not good with or don't like than just having someone else use it. I would make a recommendation for when you do Splatoon 3. If you have a weapon you don't like playing or are not good with then invite someone who is to play it and play it yourself also, that way you can alternate between both feeds and show how they as a professional use and play with it compared to you as an amateur with it. That way you can show how it plays from both an experienced and lesser experienced player with that weapon type and give those who watch an idea of what kind of issues they can have starting off but also how well they can do if they progress with it.

Getting picks as a mobile charger is satisfying. I actually enjoy the base kit because the bombs allow for pressure over corners and the special is a panic button. There is some merit to using this, I like the pierce mechanic of a normal charger and playing hide and seek with the chargers that out class me is satisfying.

One more aspect of the Goo tuber is that like the nautilis splatling it can store partial charges, allowing for the user to quickly dip and reposition with some damage ready out of the gate. Might not have been amazingly helpful but it would have helped preventing the sitting duck method of charging and damage.

Gootuber is just a sad weapon it’s just outclassed by squiffer and it makes me sad, I wouldn’t say this main weapon is truly bad it’s just outclassed by squiffer in a lot of ways it would’ve been fine if not for the fresh squiffer having its custom variants kit but better and it’s strengths are good but it’s just super outclassed by Squiffer being faster in general and being able to charge midair which is super good Also this octoling shares the same name as Annie’s Clown fish odd

You can also "imagine Inkopolis" and go back to the main game if you interact with the copy of Haikara Walker in Deepsea Metro. It is implied that Agent 8 imagines themselves at Inkopolis through this magazine. One tip about using Inkjet: only use it when you have a very good idea of what you're gonna hit with the first couple shots, any more after that and the opponent will react and dodge your special.

I would like to recommend increasing the sensitivity by a little. There are 2 times in both matches where if the sensitivity was increased I feel like he would've gotten a kill. One being at 23:26, and the other being at 29:20

Real talk, I do think the Goo Tuber would have been an interesting and more usable weapon if it was the ONLY Charger that could store shots. Simply being better that being its main claim makes it hard to really recommend over something that is similar but easier to use (like Squiffer) or rewards mastery a lot more (Bamboozler). I think the only time people seriously use it is if they main chargers and want the unique sub and special combos it has.

As someone who loves chargers, I see Chugga doing a lot of hunting with it. I main Bamboo, and I can say that moving into position and waiting for others to move in on you is the best way to play. Like, I have to hit two shots in a row (sometimes 'cause main power), and it's a lot harder if I run to the enemy to do that. Alos, I think that Pump Track is an amazing map too, but is it just me, or is charging impossible on it? There are absolutely no places where the terrain is flat enough to reasonably be able to react to the change in terrain and the enemy's movement. I think if Chungga sees this, it would be wise of him (if he has to play chargers again) to play the weapon NOT on his favorite map.Becides that, it was a great video!! I really enjoyed it!! Especially because I got to we Chungga play charger.

It’s a shame… the goo tuber is a really interesting charger with its long ranged tap shots, stores incomplete charges while swimming, faster popping out of the ink then others, and being able to get 100 damage before a full charge. Plus… personally, I like it’s visual design!
