SPLATOON 3 BUT IT'S A RELAY RACE

A few weeks ago, I played Splatoon 3 with some fans in my Discord server. The minigame we played together this time was created by Djcalvin, Somq and Chaotic. This mode takes place on clam blitz and centers around racing to make a power clam as fast as possible. At the start of the game, one player from each team goes out to build a power clam and tries to throw it into the basket before their opponent does. After they do, or they are splatted in the process, they relay the role of scoring to another player on their team. To make things more entertaining than just trying to speedrun building up power clams for 5 minutes, the players currently racing can use their full kit to disrupt their opponent. On top of that, the players in queue can use whatever subs and specials they have to splat the opposing racer. Maybe a mini game where you can only splat using zipcaster or something like that, no subs or main weapon (unless if in special), you can think of the rest of the rules.

as someone who fuckin loves clam blitz (which is crazy because i never played 1, or 2 for that matter), this seems like so much fun. i kinda do wish there were more challenges, if any at all, focused on changing the rules of the game modes themselves. as opposed to a gimmick like "oh, splat bombs." or "oh, big tower"
