This is some insane lore going down. Such great production value from the editing to acting ect. Incredible videos mr star. anyway... LORE DIVE TIME! We start by all the members (minus wrath because he already knew) processing what they were told previously 0:00: Billy feeling the greif of his betrayal by alpha. 0:13: The host's reaction after travis and dave are finally able to tell him the truth 0:30: Splatlocke wakes up alpha after he was unconsious for 2 weeks (wow... how long can inklings survive without food and water?!) That also shows the true power of wrath, as alpha was knocked unconsious by wrath. 0:49: The SPLATLOCKE is a way to take Splatlocke's mind off of things. Also i love the passive agressive line "After all, isn't that what i'm meant to do?" it really reflects his personality. 2:26: Alpha trying to make small talk to try and see spaltlocke's stance on things, and the state of the others. (He could've used his powers to look through the memories of all the members, but he didn't probably because A) He has low energy after being knocked out and B) He doesn't want to make things more tense and worse between everyone. 2:35: "Kane please-" "Never call me that again" He doesn't want to be called that anymore, probably because he thinks that "Kane" is a fake identity given to him by alpha in order to cover up the truth, ect. 8:51: Splatlocke recieves a flashback. I'm not gonna describe it all so just watch it :P 9:38: ...wow 19 kills... 10:39: Back to reality 10:45: "why am i thinking about that right now?" 10:49: "My name and life revolve around this challenge, that's all i'm here for" 14:04: We cut to an interaction after the challenge 14:06: Splatlocke releases his true thoughts and feelings 14:46: In the middle of the chase, Splatlocke gets another flashback to the same day as before, but this time with just him and billy 15:22: "you stop fighting, put your anger to the side, and listen" These words got to splatlocke, which lead him to stop chasing him, and ask alpha, "why?" 15:37: Alpha spills all. Just watch from the timestamp for all the lore 17:00 "So that was *your* reason" It's important to take note of the emphasised "your" here... that's probably the intention. But what does it mean? I think splatlocke's refering to wrath here. Alpha stated his reason for concealing the truth... So now splatlocke wants to know Wrath's reason for Spilling the truth... as wrath knows it will damage everyone, including him...

I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW INSANE I’M GOING OVER THIS LORE- Always loved storytelling and Splatoon, and seeing you piece together such a complex yet simple story is just- aaaa! It makes me so excited for more, and happy that I’m able to look back, I wonder if there’s any foreshadowing we’d have missed that we may not realize until later, or any hints you’ve given us… hmm, this episode seemed to focus on Kane- I mean, Splatlocke’s perspective on who he is, it’s kind of sweet to learn that he’s so understanding of the situation because of the conversation between him and Billy from likely a year or so ago? (Off topic, but the bullies- help- their accents- you did them so well-) and uh- I mean he casually just began chasing Alpha around- lol- anyway it’s nice to get a closer look into who the characters are, I do wonder if we’ll get another Inkspedition though… not sure if he will be up to it in the first place though. And my biggest question in this all is WHERE DID WRATH GO? He’s definitely dangerous in some way, and being part of Alpha, he may have a lot more to him that we don’t know… I also do wonder how this will turn out, with Alpha fearing that he or the others may die and if that does indeed happen… aghhh i guess we’ll just have see how this plays out…

there is a LOT to unpack here. From the Steven he impression, to the hilarious dialogue in the flashback, and yet still an INSANE amount of lore, even compared to last episode.
