As a Tri-stringer main the weapon is more of a trap weapon (imo) if you use the kit to it's fullest you can actually get nasty clips. people give the weapon too little credit than it's actually worth (at this point, i feel like the only stringer main that's not only the best but also knows the most.)

10:18 as someone currently in college for Game Art, you are really not that far off LMAO. Not to go into too much detail but replacing the texture of a skybox with another, already existing texture is one of the easiest things to do (at least in modern engines like Unity and Unreal; I know for a fact that Nintendo uses their own specialized version of Unity for some of their games (Odyssey comes to mind). Although I don’t know if they use Unity for Splatoon or not, probably not unreal because that is geared more towards realistic looking games. Either way if you’ve got a modern game engine and have everything where it’s supposed to be, then replacing a texture is usually literally a matter of drag and drop. Unless the skybox has different details corresponding to the stage it is in, then the texture has to be made from scratch with the new sky colour (but even in those cases cases, sometimes just running the texture through a filter will do the trick)) Also just to cover my bases, essentially a skybox is a giant 3D model of a sphere (it used to be a cube in older games, and still in some games nowadays, hence the term Skybox) where an image (named a texture) is projected onto the inside to give the illusion of an environment surrounding the gameplay area (usually the sky). Sorry if that was overkill but you said you knew nothing about game development so I’m putting this here just in case you literally meant nothing

I’ve been watching the lore since the story mode series, and I’ve loved every minute of it!
