This song was so hype during the fest! It got my blood pumping, especially the first battle I was in! This instrumentation also sounds great! It's cool to hear the parts more clearly.

It still gets me hype to this day, I play it manually in the background of regular matches!! I was so caught off guard when it first played, I paused just to listen. I don’t think anything else has got me that hyped that fast before.

As a defender, I would often just let a team get the signal during the last minute only to hear their theme if the first one had already been grabbed by the other team. The last minute themes felt beyond epic to fight with.

@@alexcrisman1954 Oh, no...! * overdramatically * Throwing in a non-competitive game mode I'm playing for fun with my friends... How will I *ever* recover my honor as a player!? Wait until you hear about how we sometimes pick meme weapons for fun instead of actually playing the game to win... On another note, letting the second attacking team get the signal near the end of the match usually plays out, since: 1. It prevents the attacking team on the vantage from getting both signals, which is usually pretty bad. 2. It gives you a dead easy chance to wipe them out after they get the signal. 3. In the great bowl map, since the second attacking team to get the signal doesn't get a Sprinkler of Doom, after wiping them out you can easily take over their side of the map in seconds and secure the match if your team has good ink coverage. 4. Again, epic banger music. Yes, it gives them points for getting the signal, but I end up winning the match bc in turf war the main deciding factor is who is alive and in control during the last 30s of the game. I ended the Splatfest with a 34-14 win ratio playing only tricolor and, most importantly, had the day of my life, but you do you

@@endorh MALDi’s basics in education and learning (Each team getting one is just as bad as one getting both, you can wipe them even easier by stopping them from grabbing the ultra signal, when they are locked in place for several seconds completely unable to fight back) Like I get you are playing casually but let’s not pretend literally letting the opposing do the objective for free somehow helps your team win.

@@alexcrisman1954 second signal is worthless you just get a cool song and the idols will toss bombs in the middle but it's really nothing lol in any case let the dude be. I remember "throwing" by attacking the other attackers if they were on team present because i knew future was doomed so i wanted the second best choice to win.(it worked)

Hot take: I would have rather seen Now or Never, feat. Deep Cut, Off the Hook, and Squid Sisters! Don’t get me wrong, I still love the specials 1 minute songs we got, especially the Deep Cut one, I just assumed there would be a Now or Never with all 3 idol groups considering their group name is the NOW OR NEVER Seven.

I don't think it would have been as satisfying. S2 got Ebb and Flow and think going from Rainbow Color Inksntation to a very abrupt now or never even if it featured all 7 would be jarring and make it audibly no different than what we get from seasonal fests but now splitting a minute scross 7 people. Theres at best 17 lines in now or never if we include the long cheers. Not much room for 7 people.

That is true. A Now or Never with all Seven would be a lot. I mean, I’ve seen people make it work creating a fan made Now or Never, but you’re definitely right, the idol cheers definitely synchronize better with the Rainbow Color Inkantation song!

It's just some AI tool that removes the vocals from a song. It's not perfect and the results vary, usually there's a lot of weird compressions but this one came out pretty good so it's harder to notice.

@@londondeerIt follows the pattern. Team past got City of Color, one of the Squid Sister's original releases, team present got spectrum obligato, one of their most recent songs, so it follows team future gets a song that does not yet exist.
