I love how this boss, when you replay it to finish another run, just goes from - "Hurry! We must defeat my corrupt program, in a monstrous state, as it's the world's integrity at stake here!" All the way down to - "Aw, shit. Little seven-year-old TimTim didn't even ask mom before deciding it was *his* turn to be a Godzilla. Let's wrap this up and decide his punishment." You don't even have to fight the last phase, which was there originally to just be the part where you defeat the big bad with overpowered weapons! How cool do they make the replayability?

Well, technically you can if you replay the battle from the contained memory of the Killer Wail on the right of the elevator in the Foyer, but there’s no climbing the tower to do it.

Don’t know if you know this cool fact, but if you watch the trailer for s2, you’ll notice that the reef has a small wooden bridge instead of the normal stone one, and the canonical reason it was different was because pearl blew it up with her voice lol

One thing i love about the enemies and bosses, is that they incorporate the abilities of the specials from older games. The eye beams of Orderlord are distinctly Sting Rays, specifically the original version before they got the shockwave ability.

Before entering the elevator, go to the right, you can replay the overpowered sequence with any weapon you have equipped. Having an instant charge that depletes super slowly with the splatling is so cathartic. :)

You can replay the fight where you become OP with every colour chip and blast Order with gay rights (and rewatch the credits) by interacting with a rainbow Killer Wail box in the tower foyer - it's to the side of the elevator entrance. Unfortunately, you can't rewatch the cutscenes, which really sucks. The ZR mashing was the best part :(

Once you beat the game once you are then tasked with beating the game with every weapon this is functionally the final boss but without the “final phase” that is mostly just a scripted win where you can’t actually loose and is just the actual fighting part So yes it is just the rematch battle

In this specific case? *YES.* You're not fighting an opressive force aiming to take over the world anymore - you're fighting your baby brother who wanted to play with you, but since he's petty, he's using god mode to try to whoop your ass, and yet he's still losing because he doesn't know how to actually play the game like you do.
