One of my favorite splatoon moment happened during rainmaker. I had it in hand and was 10 or 20 away from the end. Suddenly I saw a kraken come up from behind and almost kill me. Before he could though a team mate used there own kraken to push it away. As I finished to the goal those two had a kraken fight.

This was a lets play I was able to catch and show to friends who were also playing splatoon. I initially received the game as a present, and while it was cool, It didn't click. As soon as I realized other kids at school played this game, and chugga published the bios, the story, went in depth on the incredible lore and culture, and even the weird and creepy noises after beating the third octoboss, this game had me hooked. Its become one of my favorite game series, and to me, was the reason to buy a wii u. The game may be outdated and the friends may have passed, but I won't ever forget the magic of the first splatoon. I watched this entire thing in one sitting while playing Splatoon late at night! Very informational and I enjoyed the content alot! Just for the heck of it, I'd like to mention that running Aerospray AG with focus on Special isn't too terrible. Being able to get an Inkstrike within the first 30 seconds is very satisfying. The Ink Mine, while useless on a few stages, can be extremely useful for center of Blackbelly Skatepark and some areas of Saltspray Rig. Not the best weapon, but seeing as I got 250k points of ink with the thing, I might know a bit about it.

I remember a turf war anecdote of mine including the splash wall.. I was playing with a 52. gal on flounder heights when I saw a sniper on the near center platforms, with me, and we were on opposite sides : I was in a disadvantage. I threw my splash wall behind him and started shooting, but he stepped back, avoiding my shots and krilled me. BUT after that the squid continued backing up, being shredded by my wall. big lol here m8

I feel that for the Inkzooka, you need to mention that you CAN change its height/vertical positioning by aiming up and down; if you aim down, the tornado comes out lower and can hit squids on lower ground, as well as slip under high objects like billboards and trees (at the cost of range). Conversely, if you aim up, the tornado starts out higher and will travel much further to hit those pesky elevated Chargers (although it will sail right over anybody directly in front of you).

Let me just say that, despite the game being really old, I feel the need to say that I prefer the Inkbrush for one reason: You swing it absurdly fast. Even though it has short range and low damage, it can overwhelm slower weapon classes, making it more like a stealth weapon too. I ended up finding the entire enemy team close together and killed them all pretty quickly with that weapon.

I find the Aerospray RG to be the best at tower control, here's my strategy -Cover your entire base with ink, to get an inkstrike ready -Fire Inkstrike at tower, if the oppenent is currently in it -Speed over and place a ink mine (is that what it's called, I forgot) on the tower -Jump off and watch your enemies fall -After they're dead, your team can freely super jump over, and get between 50 and 75 percent to reaching their goal on average -Also K.O. any snipers up close, it's their weakness

one thing I've noticed about the weapons in this game and (splatoon 2 as well) is that each weapon brand has a specific symbol... except for deco which has two different symbols (just compare the 52. gal deco and the heavy splatling deco to the slosher deco and rapid blaster deco). Waiiiit a minute custom is also sometimes different, sometimes it's yellow and sometimes it's white and blue
