you need to expand north because while you have 2-3 layers of walls on the south you only have one layer of defences guarding your command centre on the north and your main group of houses, if the north wall falls then you are fucked

They keep attacking the northern wall because it's weak and I think "okay good he'll realize he has to work over here now" but nope - he keeps building and upgrading the towers in the south because he's obsessed. I like the 2 wall thick, 1 row spikes/razor wire, then another 2 wall thick. Towers/balista/executioners still reach and cover the walls but gives you more time to get troops in place, build/upgrade more towers. If you layer it each expansion you can end up with 6 walls to chew through with defenses at each chipping away at the masses.

Also really enjoying, I am new to your channel, but have binge watched all your "They are Billions" episodes in like 4 days. Another thing please update your playlist as well, because it only has until Episode 16, whilst your channel itself has upto 24 Episodes, and also your video numbering is weird because several episode numbers seem to be repeating. Also one thing I want to point out, I know your not good in this genre, I am sure it is fine if sometimes you split your troops because sometimes I noticed even for small things, instead of sending a a few units, you take the whole army and end up having the area they were in being undefended. Also you fail to use the option of setting hot keys for units, set hotkey for each different type of unit to a different number, and then when you need any of them to fall back from spitters, instead of having to manually selecting them 1 by 1, you could simply hit their assigned hot key and work with them. I am only trying to help with suggestions, tbh your playing it quite well. This game really reminds me of the Command & Conquer/ Age of Empire days and therefore really enjoying it xD. Lucifers can shoot through gates. they are a great unit if used correctly. like by flanking a swarm. great aoe attacks

You do say you want to get squads at each wall by the final wave, but in every stream and the KZbin games you only ever have enough of a squad for one wall or you just don't split them up for each squad and then one wall holds but the other fall. Just saying this so you make sure you have enough units by day 85 for each wall and leave them there

There is an option on turrets and units to target special zombies over horde zombies. It makes spitters so much easier to kill.

Doesn't target spitters specifically though, only if the spitter is the only highest level enemy around. Will target other special enemies as well, if they are closer. Also, the setting only affects target acquisition as far as I can tell, not already shooting units. So they will only change targets if they have killed their previous target or a shooting cycle is over or whatever unit the game uses to trigger target acquisition, but they won't interrupt themselves to immediately go after higher level enemies.

I think the thanatos splash damage was causing friendly fire casualties at pinch points; when used for clearing. Some micro strat might be advisable if friendly fire does exist in TAB

Something i found out recently is that you can stack gates forever. you just have to build the gate first before walls.

You should spend some resources on power tesla redundancy. When an outer wall falls in the final wave you might loose inner wall defenses.

You could put your snipers on attack highest level and not closest target, that will help against the spitters if you let some run close to the frontline. The small stuff is easily taken care of by the rangers and such (when unit is selected the tile most bottom right in the U/I).

I don't understand. You almost lost the game at the north wall. You even knew they were coming for that particular spot. Why didn't you upgrade your ballistae to executors on that wall? By now you should be trying to get 1 executor at each outter wall at least. I know their upkeep is horrible. Was there a reason you didn't at least upgrade that northern most ballista?

Yeah dude... Chris beat the map you are playing AND the second one us well. You should REALLY go watch his LAST episode, to see how he deals with the stuff on day 90+ I told you before - fuck the economy. Once the last wave hits, delete the rudimentary economy buildings to slow down the hord once they inevitably break through. Do multiple rows of walls/turret/unit fallback points. Use the fckn shock towers / sniper towers combo, and be ready to wall up and rebuild any area that looks like it could fold at any moment. Use your units to kite around the enemy. I´ve seen a Thanatos camping outside walls and once the wave hit and agroed on the defenses he came from the flank and started burning them. Pretty much just use your brain, pause the game and distribute stuff where necessary.

because of how the ai works you should add little walls sticking out of your big double wall lines it attracts the zombies to attack there and that means you can sort of chose where the zombies attack at that wall

Thanatoses are realy bad at clearing as they draw a lot of enemies with the noize they make and they attack only one enemy, while the entire point of them is splash damage so they are great at defending but bad at attacking

Id say that being able to draw more aggro while still being near your walls and able to retreat behind them is great. In addition being able to just hold in position with your forces as a big ball and letting enemies come to you is great because snipers are more likely to just kill the spitters before they get to attack. Ball is a great formation to hold in :P although getting overrun is not great.

don't attack with the thanatos lol, if you get over run or horde comes, they might not get back in time to defend. they also don't really help fast enough to prevent spitters from killing your other units, so it's pretty useless in attack

Seriously I'm beside myself with you taking your thanatoses off the walls. You are spending so much time clearing that your base is completely neglected. You need to be home fortifying what you have. I'm also completely losing it watching you ignore excellent choke points in the name of "staying away from the edges." If you were to expand at least half of your walls, you'd win so much better. Or even win. You've got one wall holding the entire west side of your base with two ballistas. You could build two more walls out but are too afraid to encounter the edge of the map to seek it.

I like your zombie related series, but I find you distract yourself so often, You have what looks like broken walls. Dislike that this game doesn't have a camera rotate, like the stronghold games had, it helps you see your base better. On your game play you tend to get distracted by combat and end up not upgrading your base. I really wish you get around to making a second set of walls to your north. Maybe in future episodes, i know this is pointless to comment, on a video that's not current. I really wish you wouldn't lose use your vet units to clear. I know they are better and faster, and maybe its the upkeep costs that has you will low troops, but wouldn't it be better to rotate them back into the wall for defense ? You have money to upgrade but you didn't and now your losing troops.

You NEED to stop just putting defenses at choke points. You can win the game like that. Also don't push inward with your defenses. Push outward. You are being wayyy too neat with your walls. At some point you need to just start slapping that shit down everywhere
