By the way splee, I found out that you can make other enemies poopwalk!! I parried the black knight with the halberd in darkroot garden in a weird position and his animations were like poopwalking animations!!!! Idk if anyone ever found out about that, but he started doing weird, awkward moves, his hitting and walking animations were different

Great video! About defeating bosses on your own, Nito can actually kill himself using his Gravelord Sword Dance, but I assume it's impossible to pull the trick off since you can't run or roll. Also, I believe that Capra can kill himself by repeatedly taking fall damage, although, mild luck will be required to avoid the dogs :)

@@saulgoodguy1840 It isnt sadly, pyromancer the only class that starts at lvl 1 has an assorted 83 stat point advantage. Same goes for every other class, theres literally no usecase for it.

@grapenut6094 Max level PVP it's actually functional. Your defenses increase per level up to the maximum of 713. This would increase that maximum significantly and give you a slight advantage.

New challenge run: The Banished. Get to Firelink Shrine and then corrupt your save data. You literally start with nothing and have to truly work your way up. Going from a defeated hollow who isn't even capable of attacking to a mighty kingslayer.

@@NaruTheBlackSwan Downpatching is the only way I know of triggering it. But it might also be possible through a different form of save corruption.

@splee5556 Gotcha. Usually, when I've seen other streamers trigger this, it's an accident. The opening cutscene plays, but they're sent to the revisit version of the Asylum with the doll and the black knight. I've triggered save corruptions by canceling cloud syncs, but that just disables the HUD and inverts the right stick and garbles the character name. Resyncing then fixed it. Do with that what you will.

I don't think I've ever seen that ladder falling animation before. Been a few years since I played DS, totally forgot ladder climbing needed stamina. Does it drain it, or just needs it? Playing Elden Ring right now and the QOL updates it has are great. No stamina use outside of combat is real nice. Would have been awful to have to keep stopping to recover stamina in that open world of course, so the changes make sense.

Wait. You can get a character to Gwyn in 0 bosses now? When you revert to the correct patch after downpatching, your character will be back, at least it should. So you can wrong warp with down patching now. Huh.

Unfortunately, the original character's data is lost during the corruption process. Reloading a corrupted character on current patch doesn't restore the original character.

I think they meant that because the data is lost, would corrupting a save in firelink to load into the kiln still put you there if you loaded the save in the current patch

Just need an item swap setup in the Firelink Altar. Load a second character from the Shrine and if you execute the glitch correctly, you will be in the Altar and can then wrong warp.

I know you went from SL0 to SL1 with just one point, but could you try leveling past 1? I'm curious if your soul level would remain SL1 until you're at the same amount of attributes as a pyromancer.

Took a quick look into this, and it ended up being much stranger than I expected. For levels 1-3, it works the same way as shown in the video. Each level will increase your soul level by one. At level 4, it stops costing souls to level up, all the way up to level 85, and your soul level will also remain at 4. Above level 85, it starts costing souls to level again, and your soul level also increases again. Also, if you scroll your level past where it freezes at level 4, and then scroll backwards, it starts deducting more soul levels than it added. So you can get your soul level to display deep into the negatives.
