Sad it will be closed, one of those things lost to time. It feels very "90s" to me, but most of Hiroshima felt that way to me (I only took the Atram or whatever). Too bad you didn't release this video when I was there a couple of weeks ago!

I will try to have a day trip or overnight trip to Hiroshima when I am visiting Tokyo in February so I can experience the Skytrain before it closes. Not sure whether to get a rail pass, or to simply buy a Shinkansen ticket to Hiroshima from Tokyo and use my Suica card on my iPhone for everything else...I will research...

Seems it's cheaper to buy the 7day JR pass outright than return tickets plus it would give you the additional days to do something else by train.

@@BranTravel42 I am going to try. I think i will be getting a JR Pass, travelling down one day and then coming back the following day. I'll need to find a place to stay in Hiroshima though. Maybe a capsule hotel or business hotel depending on price. Do you have any recommendations?

@@BranTravel42 I would love to take some ferries in future. I don't think I'll have time in February, but hopefully I can visit again later in the year when it's warmer. I will look at those business hotels you suggested, thank you ^_^
