i was really confused why it didn't take off initially but thank the lucky stars for channel's wonderful wonderful animation that gave me the last push to finish the vocals.
had a lot of fun with the lyrics, less so with the recording! i'm 27(000) years old so this should be... fine... but i guess at heart im still sort of a little shy hehe. cheeky deco is peak though.

Its really odd how the lyrics invoke a lot of sentimentality on my end. Though in a different context the lines really do land very close to home. Especially the beginning where she addresses the loneliness and the evident disgust she has for his emotional remarks. "Don't get stressed and depressed over this" "Hey I'm sorry is that what you really wanted me to say, no way". Occasionally the way she addresses him as "Mr Commitment" seems rather targetted and intentionally cold but that adds a sense of frustration and distress that perfectly captivates his perspective as well. If i had to bring up other parts of the lyrics, the ones that felt most impactful were only in addition to the point of view we already established "don't be a creep thats some weird jealousy" "You thirsty for me? Could you stop being cringy" Oh and last but not least i wanted to point out was just how ignorant and nonchalant she sounds here to him but with how the song progressed later on, I'd argue that silhouette she has over her face really sells the idea that though she seems enigmatic and in for the thrill, a part of her really did start to develop feelings. "If you really want some, if youre feeling lonely. Baby get lucky". Overall this song has been a blast for me and theres so much more to cover over but for now I'm content with pointing out the sides to the song that i felt most relatable with. Props to Deco27 and rachie for the song and amazing cover. You guys really created such a grand masterpiece and i can't help but compliment just how great this cover was.
