There's an official manga about this song called The Vampire (I know, very original) and in the manga the girl is a social media influencer and she is a vampire (or at least thinks she is, I haven't finished it) and let me tell you, the plot is crazy. She got a hateful comment one day so she decided to stalk the guy, and then when she actually met the guy, she fell in love at first sight and from there, she wanted to suck his blood because she thought he was her destined lover.

I heard that the song was actually about her anxiety’s of being on the internet and her struggles, the reason it’s called the vampire is cuz she craves affection from a specific person and she will ‘suck’ on them and make them her own. It’s got a bit of romance and some sexual reference, but in the og song it says “the fruit of anxiety’s” I think, this means the addiction of being on social media, and felling adrenaline going through it all, in addition, in this song, it’s says “if it’s not you than it just wouldn’t do” and “let me worship you till we’re through” which is backing up my point on the addiction of affection and wanting to cling or suck the affection out of someone.

I heard that the song was actually about her anxiety’s of being on the internet and her struggles, the reason it’s called the vampire is cuz she craves affection from a specific person and she will ‘suck’ on them and make them her own. It’s got a bit of romance and some sexual reference, but in the og song it says “the fruit of anxiety’s” I think, this means the addiction of being on social media, and felling adrenaline going through it all, in addition, in this song, it’s says “if it’s not you than it just wouldn’t do” and “let me worship you till we’re through” which is backing up my point on the addiction of affection and wanting to cling or suck the affection out of someone..
