This’ll get lost within the void of the comments, but it’s been three years since I’ve discovered this song, and listening again to the slight warmth the song gives while chilling you to the bone with nostalgia is so haunting? Like I’ve never had my heart broken from a relationship romantically ever before, but I feel like after listening my heart is on the verge of tearing itself to pieces. The thought of the girl losing her first kiss and losing her lover in such a short moment leaves you to realize how fragile love can be. I know the meaning of this song is laid out pretty clearly in the lyrics, but I personally like to interpret it as being more metaphorical. I like to think that the train is more a sign that a person you love is slowly slipping away from you, that you’re beginning to mean less to them than they do to you, and the bitter pill you must swallow in order to be able to move on and love again.

Me and my boyfirend just broke up earlier this week, and I've been crying nonstop since, I didn't have the chance to tell him that I love him and your translation just described our break-up perfectly... Well, I... Was randomly listening to Vocaloid covers, and this came up And, before I could stop it, the song was already halfway through, and I was already hugging the closest pillow and melting in tears. For a long time, I thought I was aromantic. Never really managed to fall in love with anyone. Well, one day, it happened. And then, before I could even have time to think about it, I was already together with said person. And it was for sure the best time of my life. But then a few things happened. And I was hurt, really really badly. And even after months trying to fight that feeling away, I could never really get rid of it, nor from the memories; And they tried and did their best to help me too. But it wasn't enough. I ended up breaking up with them, because I couldn't handle being reminded of it every single day. I still to be hurt by it every single day nowadays. I have severe anxiety, and because of that, I can never really stop overthinking about what happened, so I end up re-living through all the pain every single day. Deep deep down, I still love them. It's a conflicting feeling. Of loving someone so much, but at the same time feeling so much pain by merely looking to them. Up until the last weeks all I could remember were the painful feelings. If anything, this song made me re-live through a bit of the love that I once felt, and that nowadays mostly already fade away. It's such a mix of a good feeling, with a terrible one, right now. But, hey, despite that, thanks Rachie, for this cover. It's good to know I at least know how to feel something that is good. This reminds me of my first love. We broke up cause of a misunderstanding and I was too angry at myself to beg for her forgiveness and just went on torturing myself cause of how stupid I was. Got into some bad relationships just to make myself suffer. I had only realized I was doing this subconsciously a couple of months ago and all the feelings that I kept hidden bursted out and I cried. I regret not saying sorry 3 years ago. Even if things wouldn’t have worked out I wish we could have ended on a good note
