splinter cell has been around before COD. it was always based in modern times and fighting terrorist. COD started with WW2/World War 2. also the gameplay is completely different splinter cell is about stealth and planing and COD is shoot everything to get to your next objective.

The ability to see through walls is pretty sweet. And the ability to identify who your target is behind a door so you don't end up killing the wrong guy...that will result in a lot less mission failures

in case you didnt catch it Scott Mitchel retired as a field operative when he was promoted to ghost comander leeding the ghosts form command most notably in GRFS and Endwar where he coordinates with other world powers and Six was the main character from the rainbow six series and when he got old they retired him to the leader of team rainbow and he sits at comand and watches over his aprentice bishop who even has apprentices of his own and sam has none sam should take grimmsdaughters spot

Can you move/carry dead bodies like in the old Splinter Cell games? One annoying thing in Conviction was that you can't move/hide the dead bodies. By the way, I think the scene at the beginning is not interactive, that it is set up so you are carrying a body. So I am not sure if you can carry the bodies in this game...

very valid point however splintercell was always about using the enviornment tacticaly to silently sneak through a base or eliminate the georgian vice preseident in the first game (i think it was the vp) anyway this is more like blowing through the camp and using stealth up to the point where you can confidently run throught the camp and shoot everyone you see in the face also it fricken ends on a sprint through a burning building which is included in every uncharted game to date

this is only one mission out of many that are going to be in this game you can do this stealthy if YOU like you have a choice just because the guy that's showcasing the game didn't do it how you want it or how it's suppose to be played doesn't mean there's no stealth.

No. This is Sam stepping into the future. You have to think, if the soldiers of CoD have access to UAVs, then Sam, a guy who works/worked for the CIA would definitely have access to one

You CoD people are spoiled. Gameplay that allows you to rush in, guns blazing, and hit all your targets. You don't know what it is to have to work out a strategy, try to be stealthy, and actually spend more than 10 hours trying to complete a game. This is real gameplay, this was epic before CoD was even a dream in a producers mind.

Long time ago I was playing "Pandora tomorrow" and I have to say, that this one made me sick of angryness :D You can't shoot, you can't show yourself, you can't ahh... :D And now in Blacklist you can everything (almost) and you have more options but everybody say that this one lost it's climate. Hope not :)

Played sc since the first. I thik this game looks awesome. I am sure there are pure stealth levels later. Although i think all pure stealth level will be too monotonous and dull. It is like playing sc1 all over again with newer graphics

A game doesn't have to be a FPS to be a COD clone. It's the style, gameplay and story that makes it a clone. Not the perspective in which you're playing. It's obvious Ubisoft just wants to please the COD fanboys and throw in a little Assassin's Creed and turn Sam Fisher into a ruthless killer, which he isn't supposed to be. I could handle him being more brutal in Conviction, because it was much more personal for him and he wasn't working for the government anymore. But this is ridiculous.

Not even close. You are basing that on seeing one mission. There are on average 12 missions per game. They are guaranteed to get more stealthy. Plus you can't "clone" a game that is new compared to splinter cell

Although this one looks much better than the older games,I wouldn't call them "boring as shit" ok maybe I got sleepy 2 or 3 or 20 times playing Double Agent on the PS2 and Pandora Tomorrow just waiting for something to happen so I can kill someone,but back then it was stealth or get fucked,now it is more like Metal Gear Solid games,you can play it stealthy or just play it CoD style,but if I hadn't lost my PS2 memory card,I would play Double Agent again for sure.

Yeh I know the first level was scripted as fuck. But then they showed more gameplay and... for example you couldn't just hide behind a box in blood money. You couldn't sneak around like that.
