Whats the purpose of laser on surveillance cameras? Psychological effect?

you mean tazing the camera as a spy? or just the purpose of the camera on the map?

@@bruno13532 That’s one of the equipments a Merc can use, camnet. Each map has a few around the map the Merc can tap into if picked before the match to help watch the map. The laser can be used to tag a spy onto the Mercs radar for a period of time if you keep the laser on the spy long enough..but also as you mentioned, used for psychological effects which is usually the case as to cause the spy to feel defeated letting them know you know exactly where they are 😈
