I loved this game, met a good friend from Britian, and due to his work schedule and me going to college at the time we got to play together and would destroy people on xbox. We spent soooo many hours playing this game, RIP one of the best multiplayer games ever made.

Chaos Theory works on my xbox one, you would think they would just reactivate the online mode, but im wondering if there is some technical reason they can't do it.

The technical reason is they'd rather sit on an ip with the IDEA in their heads that one day they could make a version that would make them infinite money, rather than just activate the servers of an older version of it to let people have fun. Heck, even if they put up a 50 quid price entry point for each player they still wouldn't be happy with the money they'd get, they'd want it to have battlepasses and stuff for recurrant revenue.

Same man, I remember loooong summer nights staying up till sunrise just endlessly playing this with my old buddy. Enjoyed spy gameplay very much compared to mercs. Was a very intense game at times when I was younger hahah cheers

I hate remasters and remakes as often they are either quick cashgrabs or trying to revive the community wich in my opinion is just pitiful and disappointing. And I haven't even mentioned the gameplay part, often remasters butcher the entirety of a game for "modern" gameplay, making the game almost unrecognizable except for the graphics and story.
