The 100% best love song EVER! 💖 I remember meeting you Neil at the Party Boys after party at Delmonico’s in Auckland in 1986. I was only 15 and got to sit and chat music with you. I'm an Aussie and I remember this song playing first song after New years 1986 on channel 10. I lost my virginity to this song (no loss it was ordinary). But Neil if you're ever reading these - ummmmm thank you. Some other fun facts that come to mind: 1. This was the final Split Enz hit before Crowded House came about 2. Don't try to use this song to get laid again - it never worked. 3. It's a great song from the heart and the DX7 I suspect (could be a Casio HT series synth) works for old folk like me in 2023

40 years ago I was in Sydney Australia, just being a 13 year old kid who listened to the music on the radio pretty much all day long. I loved this song but didn't know which band, or song title. Time passed by and the other day, all of a sudden, the horn/piano section of the last part(around 3:10) just kept playing in my head.
